Tim's News!
2 Corinthians 4:6
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of the darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
APRIL 13, 2007 I have some very sad news to share today. A good friend and associate of mine (also a gospel singer) has suffered a terrible loss. Sean and his family lived in Fort Erie Ontario. About two weeks ago a terrible house fire broke out at their residence on a Saturday morning. While Sean was away, his wife Amanda, and their two young children were at home. While their son was able to escape from the blaze, his wife and daughter were not. Both were rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries where both have suffered second and third degree burns to their entire bodies. Amanda passed away this afternoon from the injuries she sustained in the fire. Sean's daughter will be in hospital for about a year with a difficult series of skin-grafting operations ahead of her. Please remember this family in your prayers.
JAN. 30th 2006 Happy New Years, to all! I can't believe a whole month of 2006 is almost passed! If this is any indication of how fast our day-to-day lives are speeding, then we all need to figure a way to slow down a little! Our NYE celebration was excellent, as we ushered the New Year with marvelous friends. Although we feel that the "untimely" snow storm that day seriously affected the overall attendance, the name of the Lord was exalted and lifted high through the words and music executed that evening. Phil Enloe spoke and delivered a NEW YEARS challenge to us all, and many lives were touched as a result. In March, I'll be laying down the vocals for my long awaited Solo project. This was a lifelong dream of mine, and I know that the Lords timing for me to complete this project is "perfect" Sometimes we always tend to rush, and push, whatever? Only to accomplish what we feel is the necessary task! However when it concerns any issue that God has in mind for our lives, all we really have to do is be willing and available, and He will do the rest!
By the way, before I forget, be SURE to visit the Parker Trio website http://www.parkertrio.com and make an "on-line" donation to help support and assist them in their time of need. This recent tragedy and loss of Warren Parker is one of great sadness, and we all need to do are part to help them out. God Bless, Tim
SEPT. 4th 2005 Finally, my pen is in action again. It's been waaaaaaay toooooo long, eh! Where in the world has this summer gone? We got moved, and our new home is great! I had a wonderful time this summer, because all I did was work, ha!
Seriously, these past Concerts with The Couriers, and Necessity Trio were "Stellar" to say the least! My appetite for ministry, south of the border, is continuing to grow. Up here in Canada, things are definitely great, however it's always been a real treat to cross the border and experience the hospitality I encounter at many restaurants, as well, I get to spend some quality time with my friends. God has been extremely gracious to me, and I am Thankful for His constant guidance in my life, and all that He has done.
I'm in the process of working on my Solo project. I am hoping to have it ready for this coming December. Song choices are always's the main concern, and for me if a song doesn't have substance, then it's not the right song for me! Somehow or another, I want my music to minister to people's inner most being, and touch their hearts. I've been writing some of my own material & songs, and may have something that I feel is good enough to record on this upcoming album. All I can say is that I'll never stop trying until something "clicks" for me. With God's help, all things are possible, and He is the one and only hope that I place trust in! God Bless TB
MAY 9th 2005 Well infact it has been a good span of time since I've made a reasonable attempt to write anything new. My spare time is limited, mainly because of a very busy work schedule this year. The amount of "new" bookings that I am able to except will also be limited, as well. But let me first say that God is good! Talk about provision, well to be honest, He wrote the book on it! All down thru the years, He has never failed me once. I believe "wholeheartedly" in the writings of Proverbs, where God actually "challenges" us to give faithfully our tithes & offerings, and return He guarantee's to open the "floodgates of Heaven" IF we fulfill his commandments and do what He asks us to do.
Just to let you all know, we (our Family) are moving on June 29th I would imagine most of you would have a good idea what that's all about? It's a decision that we made, last November, and to be honest has kida crept up on me real quickly. Packing, packing, and more packing!
If you check my schedule, you'll read some exciting news about TWO upcoming outdoor Concerts which will also take place this year, in Oshawa, Ont. This will be an amazing opportunity to reach the lost, those who would otherwise not have a fair chance to hear the Gospel message..As well, you will not want to miss out on this coming New Years Eve events, taking place at King St. Pentecostal Church in Oshawa. Again, we are bringing back The Couriers, and as well for the very first time, Phil & Jan Enloe, all the way from Venice FL. I am excited to say the least, because truly, this is going to be one of the most special New years events in a good many years in our area.
Tim's Comments!
Oh, by the way. IF you are not currently in the habit of praying for our great Nation, and all of the "elected" officials that are currently in control, it's about time to start!
In my opinion, our Country is in a great big mess! Financially & morally, we are bankrupt! Oh, go ahead and disagree with me if you like, and I won't complain. However, how in the world will you explain things to your children, or grandchildren? Will there be anything left for them? Morals OR Money? Honestly, I'm not wanting to make light of the financial situation, cause we all know it's serious, BUT, even more serious, is the moral decay of our standards, that we once had. That part alarms me more than ever!
The moral decay of our Bible based standards, as we once knew them to be, are deteriorating at an alarming rate! Kids are miss-guided, envious, jealous, unhappy, and basically "numb" to reality, and truths, about any part of what is right OR wrong!
By remaining silent, we as Christians have allowed the world to have it's way, and to be "escalated" and catapulted to a height that is surpassing God's laws and standards that we all know from history, are the best!
Let's stand our ground and get together on this issue! Let's really start to pray diligently, and ask the Lord for his help. Prayer is the main "interceptor" which no-one can stop! When we pray, God listens! He hears every single word we say, whether good or bad. Furthermore, when it's good & real, and from the heart, He will intervene, and change this ole' world back to the way it's supposed to be!
